The drama ministry of New Beginnings Church, LifeLines, is excited to announce that we are taking our drama ministry to our community! We have just recently negotiated with a local community theater in order to bring our annual Christmas production directly to our community! No longer are we waiting for people to visit our church, but now we are taking our church to the community!
We will be taking the dramatic musical "Scrooge Revisited" to the Wayne Theater on Saturday, December 20, at 7:00 p.m. This production will pick up where Charles Dickens' character of Scrooge left off...a changed man, but still in need of a changed spiritual life.
We will be selling tickets at a nominal fee in order to secure commitments from our attendees. The concession stand will be open so that people can feel more relaxed in a theater setting.
The theater people have told us that we are the first church to ever rent their facilities to bring the church to the general public! We are breaking new ground and exploring new territory for Jesus!
If you would like to be involved in this new and exciting endeavor, we would love to have you on board. LifeLines exists to present culturally relevant drama in order to raise questions and open hearts to hear the Word of God.
